Migraine Sufferers – I feel your pain! Just say “NO!” to these nasty migraine triggers to avoid a sick day…
1.) Chocolate: Just say no to that bowl of chocolate ice cream, certainly any Hershey’s chocolate bars or brownie fudge sundaes.
2.) Certain Alcohols: Goodbye wine, it’s been nice knowing you! See ya later craft beer and champagne!
3.) Light: GO AWAY bright lights and beautiful sunshine and bring on the darkest eye mask you can find.
4.) Cheese: Quite possibly the saddest one yet, saying goodbye to aged cheese is sometimes necessary (and sometimes worth the pain!)
5.) Perfume / Cologne: Sorry but this has got to go too…stay away all you strongly scented Hollister folks and I am definitely not stepping foot in that car with a potpourri air freshener (instant good health day destroyer!).
6.) Artificial Sweeteners: Just skip the fake stuff and bring me the real sugar because aspartame = migraine central!
7.) Charcoal grills and smoked anything: No thank you, I do not want to come to your campfire marshmallow roast…S’mores sound delicious but can you please prepare them another way (like that’s gonna happen!)?
