Dollar Tree Fall Decor Has Arrived!💃
I love to craft and I love shopping at dollar stores! I may go in to get other essentials, but I always come out with a bagful of useful staples to keep in my craft caddy, such as floral foam and moss. These two items came in handy in today’s craft.
I also love lanterns. The lend a certain warmth to any area. One may find them in our living room, bedroom, dining room and my favorite place — the porch. On their own, with a simple candle, they can evoke a homey feel. But add in a few decorative items, and an otherwise lonely corner or empty front entrance will transform into a welcoming space.
Dollar Tree Fall Lantern Craft
First, I cut the floral foam for the base of the lantern. I eyeballed the size I would need but if you are not sure, you can measure. The foam is easily cut. Then I spray with a spay adhesive and quickly added the moss, pressing firmly onto the foam. Have the moss close by because the adhesive will soak into the foam rather quickly.
Next, is the arranging of your flower items. The Dollar Tree had a lot of options, such as fall leaves, wheat grass and other dried items. A good rule of thumb in arranging is used odd number items in your design. Especially when it will be viewed from all sides.
Now all that is left, is to place gently into the lantern!
