About Puppies and Piña Coladas
Puppies and Piña Coladas is a lifestyle blog for travel adventures, delicious food, unique products, and so much more. We are a wife & hubby team based in North Carolina with frequent guest posts featuring family recipes.
What is this blog about?
Puppies and Piña Coladas is focused on travel, food and lifestyle primarily in the Southeast United States. The focus of the southeast states will be North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia and occasionally surrounding states.
Why is this blog called Puppies and Piña Coladas?
Naming a blog is a lot harder than one might think. Trying to find a short blog name that encompasses southeastern travel plus food and lifestyle seems impossible! So we decided to name the blog inspired by the core of our life: our pets.
Our dogs and cat are our world and we treat them like they are our kids. We travel with our pets and have even moved out of state with them. They are a huge part of our plans daily including when we get to leave the house.
Why the Piña Coladas? Well that is exactly what comes to mind when thinking of our favorite treat when we travel. Since we tend to lean towards a lot of beach destinations when we travel, we always look for the best place to get a Piña Colada. Even when not at the beach, having a delicious Piña Colada just takes us away for a moment to daydreams of a tropical paradise.
All in all, we basically combined our love of animals, food and travel to get the blog name, “Puppies and Piña Coladas”. Eventually, we will get around to posting our favorite spots to get Piña Coladas in the southeast. Until then, we hope you enjoy our posts about lifestyle and travel in the southeast United States!
